The Cubs have been very busy since the last update, we have gained some new Cubs from Beavers and shortly will be sending some of the older Cubs to Scouts. We have done lots of activities, which including taking part in the District St Georges Day Parade, which was hosted by us, all the Cubs who attended did the group proud and they gained their Faith participation Award. We had a very cold but enjoyable weekend at the Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate for the County “Big Camp” where we joined over 5000 other Scouters from all over West Yorkshire and beyond and took part in lots of activities, loads of photos available on the website. We have started work on the chef’s badge and the Cubs are now ready to put their menu’s into practise and cook for the special VIP guests. We also had 5 Cubs at the District Sixers & Seconders weekend at Fanwood which included a joint Jubilee Party with the Beavers and even though the weather wasn’t kind we all still had an excellent time. We are open all summer (numbers permitting) so come along and join the fun.
