Friday 25th October 2013 saw a double celebration here at the 11th, with two Cub section leaders being presented with their Award for Merit.
Michael Holroyd (Cub Scout Leader) & Catherine Schofield (Assistant Cub Scout Leader) were presented with the award by Spen Valley District Commissioner Mike Terry.
Both Leaders have been involved in Scouting here at the 11th for over 10 years, and they both contribute to the running of the very healthy Cub Pack.
The Award for Merit is presented to leaders by the DC on behalf of Bear Grylls the Chief Scout, and implies keen, conscientious, imaginative and dedicated service over a sustained period. From all at the 11th congratulations to you both!
